she's my better (more stylish, adventurous, colourful, daring, generous, outgoing, witty) half.
otherwise known as my little sister.

my first hope for myself in 2013 is simple:
be more courageous
(without fear of the opinions of others)

no one embodies this, whether in her life or personal style, more than Emily.

mixing multiple colours.
combining bold textures.
sporting outrageous accessories.
highlighting humorous trends.
creating what cannot be bought.
wearing what most cannot.
never being anyone but herself.
and always, most importantly,
having a refreshing amount of fun.

any great lover-of-fashion knows that clothes do not make someone stylish.
the person does that.
the clothes are merely an expression.
